Crafty Quest 2: Prophecy of the Elder Tooth Kickstarting Now!

Portland, ME, February 10, 2023: Back by popular demand! Kids Arcanum is pleased to announce the launch of its second Kickstarter, Crafty Quest Box 2: Prophecy of the Elder Tooth.  


A continuation of their first successful project, the Crafty Quest Box, this adventure picks up right where our brave heroes left off. Aided by the unicorns, our adventurers seek out the quirky gnome artificer Gillyhoo in the hope of repairing his clockwork owl familiar Gearfeather and discovering clues to the lair of the mysterious Elder Tooth dragon.

"Back in 2018-19 I ran an extracurricular fantasy adventure club at our local elementary school. When Covid made schools go remote, I started working on these boxes to keep the kids engaged and give them something fun to do. The boxes were a hit and have allowed us to maintain our creative momentum through the dark days of the pandemic," said Mike Best, creator of the Crafty Quest Boxes and owner of Kids Arcanum. "Here we are again, leveled up and rising like the Phoenix.  The club is back and the kids are more ready than ever before to go on quests and ignite their passion for adventure!"

The Crafty Quest Box 2 contains an all-inclusive adventure, where kids get to go on a three-part quest, casting spells, hatching dragons, and teleporting their way through the realm.

"Will you help make their dreams a reality?" asked Mike. "Let’s make sure our kids get to become the heroes they are meant to be!  Huzzah!"

Kids Arcanum is a Portland, Maine-based company owned and operated by Michael and Maureen Best. It started as an after school crafting and gaming club at our daughters' elementary school in 2018, when their oldest daughter was in first grade. To celebrate our 27th anniversary, we recently released a 5E-compatible game supplement and will be running a Primal Energy (PE) Drive and Free Reincarnation (Free Reinc) on RetroMUD!
